Financial Education

The fundamentals of financial literacy are crucial to financial stability, regardless of income. The YCABC has partnered up with Consumer Credit Counseling (Apprisen), Rural Community Development Resources (RCDR), and Catholic Charities Housing Services (CCHS) to provide free financial education courses to the people of Yakima.

There are two types of classes:

The Bank On class, which fulfills the financial education class requirement of the Bank On program, teaches students how to develop a relationship with a financial institution and how to maintain a checking/savings account.

The Budget & Credit Score Workshop which covers the importance of budgeting and credit scores.
